A LITTLE ABOUT ME
HI, I'M TAMMY
I’m a writer, reader, and believer in the kind of grace that meets us in the middle of real life.
I write historical Christian fiction and faith-rooted reflections about courage, healing, redemption, and beginning again. Much of what I write grows from the things I’ve learned through faith, recovery, and the unexpected chapters of my own story.
I love stories that remind us that the hardest chapter is rarely the last one.
WHY I WRITE
Much of what I write is shaped by the belief that God can redeem even the chapters we would never have chosen for ourselves.
My own life has included seasons of loss, change, recovery, and learning to trust God in ways I didn’t expect. Those experiences have changed the kinds of stories I notice and the questions I’m drawn to explore.
Whether I’m writing historical fiction or a reflection rooted in real life, I return again and again to the same themes: grace, courage, healing, and the hope that our hardest moments do not get the final word.
BEYOND THE WRITING DESK
I’m an Oklahoma girl who loves good stories, meaningful conversations, old books, contemporary Christian music, and the songs I grew up with from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
When I’m not writing, you’ll often find me serving through Celebrate Recovery, spending time with friends and family, reading, watching a good movie, or enjoying a quiet day at home.
I’m learning that some of the best parts of life aren’t the dramatic ones. They’re the ordinary moments when we slow down long enough to notice the people, laughter, beauty, and grace already around us.
At the Sea of Galilee — one of those places that makes Scripture feel very close.
